CLASS RULES, POLICY AND PROCEDURES
EVERYONE IS OF EQUAL VALUE: - RESPECT ALL- students, staff and visitors - even if their views or lifestyle differs from yours.
SCHOOL RULES APPLY: - All rules listed in the student handbook will apply at all times.
ALWAYS GIVE YOUR BEST EFFORT: - If you do the work, you will pass this class. If you demonstrate your best effort, you will earn an A. This is a great way to improve your GPA.
TREAT THIS LAB LIKE A PLACE OF BUSINESS: - Please enter the computer lab calmly, keeping conversation volume low.
BE READY TO LEARN: - When I am addressing the class, everyone must be quiet and attentive. Feel free to access this site when you are away from school as this system is running 24/7 and can be used
MAKE USE OF YOUR TIME: - As soon as you enter the classroom, log on to this web site and begin the day's session. We have a lot to accomplish in the short time we have, so we can't waste it. GET HELP WHEN YOU NEED IT - GIVE HELP IF YOU CAN: - I will help as needed during class and will be available for tutorials. Students are encouraged to help others whenever possible.
RESPECT THE EQUIPMENT: - The equipment in this classroom is very expensive to replace, so treat it gently. Without it, we wouldn't have this opportunity to create. This is why we cannot allow food or drink in this lab.
WHILE ON LINE: - Only go to web sites that I have recommended. Never download files, games or software without my permission. Do not install anything on these machines as incompatible items may cause the machines to crash. There are many forms of spyware and viruses that are being transmitted through downloads and installs. Protect our equipment and software.
ASSIGNED SEATS: - I have assigned seating for all students.
